MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading casue of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age.
Keep that product out of raech of kids.
If an accdiental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blokcs of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitmain deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diretced. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taekn with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nauesa or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or becmoe severe.
If you notice other effects not lsited above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, espeically of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine wtihout doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry sotols.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and rseume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Sotre at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of kids.
